Together for 63 years, Sylvan and Barbara Beasley entered the Midtowne Meadows family together earlier this year.
Now, as they prepared to return home together, they wanted to share a little about their experience and how the Midtowne Meadows team changed the direction their lives were headed.
Two years ago, Barbara began to experience significant health problems. Hospital stays, infections, and large doses of antibiotics were her reality. While in the hospital, she improved and was admitted to a rehab facility. However, during her very brief stay there her health once again took a turn for the worse. Barbara once again returned to the hospital.
At the hospital, it was determined there was little that could be done to improve her health and she was discharged home on hospice. Shortly after returning home, the decision was made to be admitted to Midtowne Meadows Health & Rehab on hospice.
Her health began to improve slowly, and Barbara strengthened enough to be removed from hospice. She began rehab therapy and gradually moved from using a wheelchair to a walker, and now walks short distances without assistance!
Giving their strongest praise to the rehab team and the entire care team at Midtowne Meadows, Barbara and Sylvan announced their return home together!
Not only is Barbara’s health greatly improved and much stronger, but she is glowing with joy and thanksgiving for improved health.
