Meet Ashley. Walking through the front door, Ashley’s warm smile greets you, making you feel instantly at home. She is more than a receptionist – she is an ambassador for our mission and one of the most genuine people we know. Because she is so special to us, we wanted to share a little bit more about Ashley and how who she is at home trickles over to who she is at Midtowne Meadows.
A nurturer by nature, Ashley is a mom (Connor, 13, and Lillian, 11) and an admitted homebody, who loves reading (completing over 1500 books in the last four years) and a warm cup of coffee. Ashley’s family is at the center of who she is and much of that stems from her memories of her Memaw, family holidays, cooking, laughter, and time spent together.
We believe this contributes to the wonderful family-friendly environment she creates from the start.
Speaking of the start, Ashley joined us in May 2023 before we even opened the doors. We knew immediately that she was going to be an important part of the team. Asking Ashley about her experience at Midtowne Meadows, her heart comes through…
“There are many things I love about Midtowne Meadows, but my two very favorite things are: the supportive, respectful, and encouraging environment amongst the staff and the way we are able to impact not only our Residents’ lives, but their families as well” says Ashley. “Working here has been incredibly fulfilling both professionally and personally. Even on a hard day, I find myself with a smile on my face and peace in my heart as I walk through the halls of our building.”
When she’s not at work, you will probably find Ashley busy with her kids, curled up on the couch with a book, antiquing, or perhaps taking care of her many houseplants. A hobby she picked up from her Memaw, Ashley finds caring for plants soothing and enjoys the rewards from their growth. Sounds a lot like who she is here – caring for others and helping them thrive.
